Polihouse was created with the aim of helping meet the demand for student accommodation in the city of Lecco, home to the Lecco campus of Politecnico di Milano. It is a modern, Anglo-Saxon-style campus focused on cutting-edge teaching and research, closely connected to the needs and industrial excellence of the local area. It attracts students from across Italy and abroad who require suitable housing and social spaces during their academic years.

The Polihouse project is funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 4 “Education and Research”, Component 1, Reform 1.7 “Student Housing”, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
